how do i get 4 areas and where i go to see how many i have

Go to the map (the compass on the bottom left of the screen) and you will see different provinces there. When you get 6 click on your profile (top left of screen wjere it says your city) then scroll down in the achievements until you see the battle section which is the 3rd section in achievments and the one that looks like earth you hover your cursor over and it will tell you how many you have and show your name for the screenshot.

for me it says own 4 areas not 6
