Why did it let me play a game, email says rewards

Then I go to click on the badge, it says i must enter a user name to collect rewards , if I try to click on anything at all, immediately shows a banana with a bar and a 5 over its head.. I assume meaning I'm not high enough level to do that . ?
But then why was I emailed that I completed things and wasrewarded for them if it's impossible to claim the points ?
I feel dumb at here, like I'm missing the very obvious but I'm about to give up on this site over this
