Upgrading Your Fighters

Dark Genesis is a fantasy fighter game so it is crucial to upgrade equipment and level up your characters. Each character has four stars and the more stars you have the stronger your character.

The first way to level up your character is to play in the fighting arena. For each level you beat you receive points and once you have enough you can easily rank up your character. Ranking up also allows you to unlock new powers as well.

The second way to rank up is by fighting in the arena and the eternal abyss both of which are unlocked at level 17. Winning in these events allows you to earn diamonds, equipment, and more. Diamonds are a bit hard to come by but they are useful for buying stronger equipment.

As you level up, you will be able to ascend your characters which unlocks powers and upgrades stats.

When you ascend a character to epic you are able to use hero transfer and hero rollback. Ascending to level legendary you unlock the ability to use emblems which allow you to great increase the characters stats. Lastly, when you ascend to Genesis you unlock the ability to use runes. All of these attributes can be used to make your character quite powerful.

Lastly, the final way to level up your character is buy purchasing packs from the shop, if you're willing to put money into the game. The packs that can be purchased come with the pieces you need to level up and ascend your characters the quickest way possible.

Upgrading gear also makes your character stronger. The best way to get items is by fighting in the battle area, the arena, and the eternal abyss. As you get to the higher levels you'll receive better equipment.

These items can be equipped to your fighters or you can use the in the forge. The forge allows you to combine items in order to make even stronger ones. But if you're not interested in fighting through the levels in order to get stronger items, you can always purchase packs that give you what you need.

Another easy way to level up your characters is by using the training feature. There are three levels: gold, crystal, and shard. The gold level allows you to earn gold coins and upgrade stones. The crystal level allows to get crystals and exp. And the shard level allows you to get the pieces needed to ascend your character.

if your hero is a common one it will require shards of itself in order to ascend. The rare and epic heroes require shards of other heroes. These shards are a bit hard to come by though.

Summoning characters is a great way to grow your collection of fighters. There's the wishing summon, hi summon, and normal summon. The wishing summon gives you rare and epic level fighters. Hi summon gives you rare fighters, and normal summon gives you common fighters. The hi and normal summons are given free throughout the day and can be purchased in the shop for gold coins.

The wishing summon scroll is a bit harder to come buy but it can be purchased in the shop for 600 diamonds, or you can purchase certain packs that will give you more than one summon scroll.

Summoning characters is the perfect way to increase the number of hero's you have.

Heroes need to be sacrificed in order to ascend characters to the next level. However, you have to have the proper hero needed to ascend the character. This chart can be seen on the ascension page. if you don't want to purchase scrolls to summon heroes you can always go back through the levels and fight them again for a chance to get the hero you need to take your character to the next level of ascension.
