Is Battlefield 4 worth buying in 2023?
Battlefield and Call of duty have been the pinnacle of first person shooters for a long time. Call of duty focuses on an arcade style of lay whereas battlefield focus on more realistic approach but with a few arcade elememts. One of the well known battlefield games has been battlefield 4. Battlefield 4 released back in 2013 and was received very well by the fans. The game was set on a modern time and had more vechiles, guns, features .e.t.c. It is a decade old at this point so is it still worth buying? That is what I will cover today. One of the things that Battlefield 4 is known for is its emphasis on player choice. The game offers a wide variety of vehicles, weapons, and equipment that players can use to tailor their playstyle to their preferences. For example, players can choose to specialize in sniping, close-quarters combat, or vehicle-based warfare, among other options. The game's multiplayer mode features a variety of game modes, including classic favorites like Conquest and Team Deathmatch, as well as newer modes like Obliteration and Defuse.
These modes offer different challenges and require different strategies, keeping gameplay fresh and engaging. In addition to its multiplayer mode, Battlefield 4 also features a single-player campaign. While the campaign was not as well-received as the multiplayer mode, it still offers an engaging and cinematic experience for players who prefer solo play. The campaign follows a squad of soldiers as they try to prevent a global conflict, and it features impressive set pieces and intense action sequences. One thing that has changed since the game's release is the availability of DLC content. Over the years, Battlefield 4 has received numerous expansions that add new maps, weapons, vehicles, and game modes to the game. These expansions are available for purchase separately or as part of a premium package, and they offer even more variety and replay value for players who want to continue playing the game. It is surprising to see that this game is not dead yet and there still is a very active player base for this game.
If you own this game through steam then you are really lucky because the stem community for this game is always active. The player base is not toxic and they all love having fun. You will find that battlefield 4 players love making trickshots and posting them on the community page. You will find players with thousands of hours into the game who only use snipers to players who can't even hit a bullet. Overall, while Battlefield 4 may not be the newest or most innovative first-person shooter on the market in 2023, it remains a solid choice for players who enjoy intense, action-packed gameplay, player choice, and large-scale multiplayer battles. The game's continued popularity and ongoing support from the developers suggest that it still has a lot to offer to fans of the genre. If you are a fan of large scale battle with big maps, many vechiles, and interactible environment then battlefield is still worth buying. It might still not be worth the full price but with summer sale coming soon it will probably be on sale for under 10 bucks. If you wait till October 29 when the game was releases then you might get for way cheaper or EA might decide to give it for free as a 10 year anniversary event. That's it for today, thank you and have a good day.
