Is Fortnite dying? Lets look at the Stats?

Many people say and believe that fortnite dying as each update epic games (the creator of fortnite) releases the 'worse' the game becomes statistics show that this is false recently during the fortnite OG season, the player count reached a peak of the year this clearly shows that fortnite isn't dying or is it the Fortnite OG season was based around community demand and therefore when epic games brought it back they would obviously reach a player base peak as they are bringing back something everyone wanted. The problem with finding out whether fortnite is actually dying or no is the fact that lots of updates or collaborations skew these player count statistics and therefore it is harder to be able to tell without a landslide of players what the game is actually doing is respects to how alive it is to one person it could be their main game and moreover they see the game as alive but to another person the game has completely left their life and moreover to them it's dead.

The Fortnite OG season was a month longs season a third the length of a regular season (3 months) and changed through chapter 1 seasons weekly ending on the final event of the season of a rocket launch leading players onto chapter 5, all great things come to an end and I believe all fortnite players who had been following the game finally stopped for a second and realised that they had to let go the past was really good but what'd the point on dwelling and moreover epic games had a large player base going into chapter 5 allowing them to show the player base what they could really do which leads us to today we now see an above average player count compared to last year and this is perfect for epic games allowing fortnite to flourish and along with the new game modes that have released the game shouldn't be going anywhere in the near future, a reason being is because fortnite is an incredibly unique game as it offers multiple game modes such as driving a Lego builder and a guitar hero eques game mode.

Epic games clearly know what they are doing as they have managed to keep the game alive for over 6 years now and counting people may say the game is dead or is dying but people where saying this years ago and its all because of perspective through others eyes the games leaves their life and therefore they forget about it its a distant memory but for others its what they do after school rushing home and getting on their console to see the new update no matter how good or bad it is they always are excited to see what the game has to offer as no one knows what will really happen until a leak has happened or epic make an announcement like in December fortnite released the new Lego, rocket racing and music festival game modes which no one expected except leakers who leaked the release of lego fortnite 2 seasons before it's release this shows how leakers can find lots of things but miss the small details as they found one of three game modes, these modes only brought more popularity to fortnite showing that the game truly isn't dead.
