Minecraft: Survival evolving?
The game has been very successful since its initial release (18 November 2011) and has sold over 13 million copies solely on Xbox 360 making it the 4th most sold Xbox 360 game ever. It has also, as of February 2017 sold over 121 million copies across all platforms, making it the second best-selling video game of all time and the highest selling PC game ever. In November 2014, Microsoft bought Mojang and the Minecraft intellectual property for US$2.5 billion. The game will cost you a minuscule US$15 to about US$20 which varies console-wise.
Survival mode: for those looking for a long time investment of time and fun with variable difficulties.
Creative mode: for those who just want to build or test ideas without having to obtain resources from hours of mining and crafting.
Hardcore mode: for the thrill seekers that want a harder version of the game.
Adventure mode: an alternative difficulty of the game which many find unique and challenging.
And finally Multiplayer: where players can enter servers with thousands of players worldwide and compete in countless minigames for server based prizes and again to be the very best.
The game also allows LAN with PC and Mobiles and up to 4 Players on Xbox and Playstation which lets players build with their friends and not be total recluses.
