OVERALL RATING : YOU REALISE IT WANTS YOUR MONEY AFTER A BIT.
The game used to be very good, I joined back in 2011 or 2012, I believe. I grew up with the game, and I used to play it all the time. You could learn a coding language and make games, play games, hang out with friends. It used to have maybe one or two flaws, but it was an excellent game. I used about £120 on it, my current account being Paynt, even though I quit. We will get onto why I quit later. I learnt Lua on this, which is the programming language and I got my dream job aspiration from Roblox - Software Engineer. You can join groups, work at cafes and more, giving you semi-experience in real life situations. This doesn't mean you can jump from one building to another, though.
THE DOWNFALL
They removed any chance of the game being free in (I believe) 2015 or 2016. Tix was the daily currency players recieved, and Robux being the payed currency. The only way to earn Robux is through capitalism. Quite literally. It used to be very satisfying, and they recently introduced safechat. Safechat is blocking >13 players to say any number or misspell any words, as they could reveal their addresses. Some items, such as the Tommy Gun (Old machine gun from the world wars) are banned to >13 players even though they can be used in games such as Phantom Forces, a game that roblox supports which is the equivalent to CoD or CS:GO. Any player can play Phantom Forces.
Bot spamming, hackers, exploiters, rumours and much more. ROBLOX do cover this up, and their trustworthiness is quite high. Can't say the same for Kid Friendliness, as there are a number of sexual games, which obviously got covered up quite quickly.
This is some of the main reasons, but not limited to, why I quit ROBLOX.
PROS
You can earn money through it, but you need a membership.
Good game for young children, if monitored correctly.
A nice layout.
Great to show off in 4th grade (Year 5) if you have an amazing new accessory, or whatever they are called nowadays in Roblox.
If you are babysitting or anything similiar, you could just leave the child to play ROBLOX all night and not worry at all. ROBLOX has game monitoring, right? (It doesn't if you didn't notice the sarcasm.)
Doesn't rot your brain. Infact, no video game rots your brain. Type up "Video Games Help Learning" on Google.
Quite popular, YouTube channels have gained success off of roblox.
CONS
To earn money, you need a $20 monthly membership and over 100,000 R$ (Robux, ROBLOX currency.)
Sexual games can sprout out from time to time.
Certain aspects of community are horrible and toxic.
10% of games on ROBLOX are quality.
You might just get bullied and called cringe for playing Roblox.
Good luck trying to look cool on Roblox without paying a single cent.

The placed advertisements.. ughhh.
