Rust, the next survival game?
Rust is developed by a company called Facepunch, the company behind other successful games such as Garry's Mod and Trouble in Terrorist Town.
The game was given a solid 9/10 on Steam and has sold over 3 MILLION copies in the 3 and a half years it has been up for sale!!
Rust was officially released to the public on 11 December 2013. The engine it was running on then was very basic and graphics were very limited but now, if you play on a beast PC and put the graphics on Ultra the game will look like real life!!
Every weekend Facepunch release a new update making the game (almost) bug free!!
To have a successful and enjoyable time in Rust you do need to become quite a sweat on it, meaning you would have to take on the best on there and beat them at there own game!
If you plan on surviving you will need to get your own food and resources, which can actually be quite a challenge on its own...
Alternatively, if you don't fancy going on a stroll in the hills, you could just go and steal someone else's gear e.g clothes, weapons and food!
The basics of the game are rather simple to get the hang of, but if you want to make a secure house for you and you buddy's you may need to put a couple hours in to figuring out the rest...

Otherwise, if your on your own it can be both boring and difficult.
However, if you are on your own and have already established yourself into the map the game will be quite fun...
Out of 5 stars I would give it a nice 4, because it does lapse a few features like single player.
My favourite thing to do in the game if probably get a friend on and do a marathon to try to see who can build the best house in a certain amount of time!!
Every now and then a helicopter drops by with supplies and goods. The only down side to this is the helicopter also shoots people who are out and about trying to get the goods, so if you go near it... be careful.
