My experience on Prime Status and Non Prime Status
Hello, everyone, I am someone who plays CS GO on steam. Now, keep in mind I am not a total pro, not at all a pro I rarely top frag in games. Aside from that, I am here to tell you about being Prime and being Non-Prime in CS GO. I started as a non-prime gamer. I couldn't ask for money from my parents to spend on my games. LOL. I started grinding casual games and deathmatches because I've always thought comps are for pros only. Casual and deathmatches were fun, however, the problem with Non-Prime matchmaking is that hackers are common. Because the game is free, hackers got nothing to lose so they keep on hacking. Besides the hacker issue, non-prime people are slightly easier. My theory is that they don't have to put as much time and effort into the game since it is free. Then I made some friends who have Prime status and are way higher skill and level than me. Because I'm non-prime, at first we would play scrimmage only, and guess what the matchmaking took approximately 5 minutes. My friends told me that this is because I am non-prime, but I am not sure whether that is true or not. Anyways we'd grind on scrimmages and again because I'm non-prime, we would meet hackers along the way. I got tired of this crap so I asked my friend to buy me prime and that I can pay him later at school. (I ain't got any credit cards to add to my steam wallet). I bought a prime and it was a good feeling. Two things I realized about the prime status is that there are way lesser hackers and that players are way better. With the prime status, the game is more challenging and more competitive. However, it is totally new experience and I do not regret having prime. Anyways this is my thoughts on the prime status vs non-prime status at cs go. Thank you!
Here is a picture that was taken years ago, after cs go became free. This was pounds 11.29, which is equal to 14 US dollars. However, over the course of time, CS GO became more expensive. Now it is $14.99 which is basically $15. If you are looking to go for the prime status, do use it wisely. Nowadays CS is packed with servers and you need to do your best no to get reported. I've seen cases where the player has <$100 worth of skins and a good rank however got banned on CS GO, and so, therefore, cannot sell the skin and all the efforts are lost. So if you are looking forward to prime status, make sure you use it wisely and effectively. Don't go down the dark side! ;) Because I'm non-prime, we would meet hackers along the way.
