Do i have to be level 5 or above for quests ?

I was eating and a 'tutorial' about quests came up, i wasnt really paying attention. And suddenly i hear/see something about being lvl 5 on bananatic and im now confuesd. I doubt thats the case but id like it if someone confirmed it for me :)
